"Hmm, there?" Derek's distraction worked as the man turned around, noticing the closet nearby. "What? You need me to pick something up for you?" They asked, wondering what the janitor meant by that. Still, their back was now completely open to Derek who could see several key cards in their pockets. Picking them would be easy, but actually entering the fuel room would be another matter entirely. Either he would have to come up with a new, fantastical excuse to convince a man that was already being impatient, or he would have to cause a huge enough distraction to buy himself time to fully explore the room.
Alan started thinking that Lene didn't like him much, because once he was done with his act, the bulky man socked his face again. This caused Alan to spit blood as Lene turned back to Xavier, as if wondering if what Alan said was true or not. Xavier in particular looked quite irritated at Alan's act. "Mr.X? Oh, just you wait..." Xavier thought, anticipating Alan's death.
"So, did he say anything important?" Lene asked, confirming Alan's suspicion that the man knew nothing about the janitor.
"Of course not! He's merely saying empty words in order to buy time and confuse us! Just get r--"
"Okay. Shut up." Lene coldly cut off Xavier before turning back to Alan. It was quite apparent that Lene and Xavier barely had a relationship, if anything Lene was more of Xavier's boss while Xavier himself could be compared to a lowly lackey. Quite humiliating for a God. Alan wouldn't have time to think about, however, since Lene was now brutally kicking the janitor's stomach. "Like I said earlier, keep this simple. Name. Surname. Go on..." He kept torturing him for information. As Alan remained silent, Lene grew slightly more brutal. His boot started digging into Alan's stomach, causing him to feel unbearable pain as he watched Lene's expression not change in the slightest. It was frightening how the man in front of him was delivering such cruel violence without even a hint of sadism. It was just a means of finishing the mission to him.
After being so focused on Lene's glare, Alan almost didn't notice Xavier standing behind his torturer. Well, Lene did tell Xavier to watch his back, but something felt off. Xavier was slowly raising his arm, until it was above his head and surrounded in concentrated wind. Alan had seen this earlier, Xavier was about to attack! But who? Alan was already being held by Lene...Wait, Xavier was planning to attack Lene? Was he going to save Alan? No. That wasn't the case. Even now Alan could see the pride and smugness on Xavier's face. He was doing this for himself.
"Lene...You insufferable trash. Why was I assigned to be your underling in the first place? A Rosnay bows to no-one, not even the UN! In fact, we were supposed to become the UN until you butted in! A stellar record...Amazing combat capabilities...You are definitely tough, and that's why you need to go! Every mission with you is a farce, you constantly get all the attention from the press, all the rewards from the UN while I'm left to rot here on this rock as a spy! You think Xavier Rosnay will settle for such a mediocre position?!?" Xavier's eyes were filled with hatred as he prepared to land his blow. "Hehehe, there is a reason I didn't reveal the identities of the rebels to you and Rene. By luring you here, I have the chance to finally get rid of you. No-one will know who killed you, after all I disabled the elevator's camera. Once I kill you and this pesky rebel over here, people will start thinking that a rebel killed you and that I avenged you! I'll be known as the one who slayed Lene's murderer...A fitting title for a God! My reputation and ranking with skyrocket and soon the Rosnay will govern the world once more!"
"This is my destiny, Lene! Now die!" Xavier triumphantly declared as he prepared to shred Lene's entire face off with concentrated, sharp winds!
"Hmm?!" Lene noticed the blow at the last possible moment, but he still tried his best to limit the damage. He raised his arms and crossed them, forming a barrier next to his head that intercepted the wind. Of course, arms were nothing compared to Xavier's cybernetic limbs, especially when they were enhanced by such a powerful tempest. Lene was sent flying as part of the flesh from his arms started to fall off. He crashed at the end of the elevator, cracking the mirror as shards of glass pierced his back.
"Heh, so this is the famous Lene? Disappointing!" Xavier boasted, having already downed Lene in one blow. He then directed his attention to Alan. Since the God didn't want any nasty surprises, he proceeded to flick Alan away with a gust of wind, causing the man to exit the elevator and crash on a wall. Alan fell to the floor, injured as Xavier cockily stared at him. "Don't be impatient, your turn will come soon! For now, just savor the fact that your death will allow me to ascend to greater heights!" Xavier laughed, sinking into the depths of pure megalomania as he approached the downed Lene.
"Any last words, Lene? I'm a cordial fellow." Xavier taunted, raising his arm as he prepared the final blow.
"...Pathetic." Lene muttered, coughing blood as he slowly started to get up.
"Hmm. Yes, that word does indeed fit you. Now, die!" Xavier cackled, wind emerging from his cyborg arm as he prepared to skewer Lene with an air spear. However, his attack failed. The wind suddenly vanished as his fist merely collided with Lene's chest, causing him almost no arm. "Eh? What?" Xavier stared at his arm, dumbfounded. He tried to summon the wind again, to control its energy in order to shred Lene to pieces, but nothing happened. "W-What? What's going on?!" Xavier screamed, checking his cyborg limbs before he finally found the defect.
The brown marks on his pure white body started to emerge and spread. His arm was slowly turning immobile His entire body was rusting! "W-WHAT IS THIS?!?" Xavier screamed in a panic. "What have you done to me, Lene?!?" He asked, but his tone made it sound more like a threat. Not like he could act anyways, since even his internal components had rusted. Xavier could no longer move.
"So, you eventually did it. I knew that someone as spineless and cowardly as you would be no stranger to the art of double crossing." Lene muttered. "Still, this is truly pathetic. You couldn't even kill me with such a cowardly tactic, despite the fact that I had my guard down? Worthless..."
"SHUT UP!" Xavier growled, veins appearing on his face as immeasurable rage was now directed at Lene. "WHAT...DID YOU DO TO MY BODY?!?"
"Hmph. You've been on countless missions with me, yet you still don't know about my Stand ability? You're a waste of life. Nothing you do will ever amount to anything, that is why I suggested you to be stationed on this rock." Lene stated coldly, adjusting his high tech shades before his expression suddenly changed. He started looking genuinely angry. "You're a blight upon Earth! You have no right to associate yourself with it! Instead of faithfully serving it, you decided to strike back against it?" Lene raised his arm and started rubbing it, as if he was preparing for something. "At this point, you'll be more helpful to Earth as a corpse. Your parts will be re-purposed."
"Wait, what do..." Xavier asked, before his eyes widened when he realized what Lene meant. "N-NO! STOP! I GIVE UP!"
"Begone, you runt." All Lene did was throw a punch at Xavier, yet it was the strongest punch Alan had ever seen. Xavier was sent flying outside of the elevator and he crashed on a wall, but unlike Alan, he didn't stop. He kept going, crashing on more and more barriers until he landed in a completely different room. As Alan got up, he realized that Xavier's body had been launched through seven walls, judging by the number of holes. As for his remains? Alan wasn't quite sure himself. Xavier was like a broken doll now, all of his cyborg body parts having been spread around the entire floor. The only parts he could see in the distance were his torso, arms and disembodied head, still staring at Alan and Lene with contempt.
"Now..." Alan shivered as Lene suddenly started to approach him instead. Alan was confident in his combat abilities, but he wondered if even he could go toe to toe with Lene, a man who defeated Xavier with one punch. They were definitely a Stand user, since they had caused Xavier to rust in a few seconds, but was that the extent of their ability? Alan knew too little to seriously consider fighting Lene.
"Based off the current events, it's quite possible that Xavier lied to me and that you're not a rebel. He probably lured me here in order to kill me like the spineless being that he is...or was." Lene muttered, causing Alan to sigh with relief. It seemed as if the soldier was off Alan's case for now. "Regardless, even if you had been a rebel, you would have been no threat to me. A person who would tolerate a beating like that without rebelling is not fit to be called a rebel." They somewhat insulted Alan with those words. "But maybe, that's just how rebels here are? You Martians are quite interesting. You were gifted with extraordinary power, yet you never rebelled when those without said power tried to exile you. No, you decided to rebel when the divide had already occurred, when the segregation had been established and the people had grown spineless. I find that quite amusing..." Lene insulted the entire population of Mars in just a few words.
"This rebellion is a joke. Give it a year for things to calm down and return to how they were earlier. Earth simply cannot be beat." It seemed as if Lene had some sort of vendetta against Stand users and Mars, despite being a Stand user himself. However, this was far too personal for Alan to decipher. "Hmm, you're a janitor right? Well, clean this mess up." Lene pointed at Xavier's remains, the broken walls and the trashed elevator. "If your work does not meet my standard, I'll have a word with your boss." Crap. This Lene guy seemed to be all business, therefore Alan could totally imagine himself being fired because of them! He had to get to work immediately.
"There." Lene suddenly brought back some cleaning equipment from a nearby supply closet and handed it over to Alan. "I shall check in the next 3 hours. I expect you to be done in 2." He said before leaving. What a dick. Well, at least Alan had some alone time now. He wouldn't be able to do much until he cleaned the floor, but he could definitely tell the others about what happened through his phone.
Giorgio successfully entered the theater through a socket, reaching a decent hiding spot through them. He was now inside the building, hiding in the shadows as he watched the guards snoop around. No sign of Colm, however. He wondered where the scientist had hidden themselves, but as long as the guards didn't find him, all was fine. Still, he scouted the area with his eyes, trying to find the man's hiding spot before noticing the noticeable appearance of a TV screen in the distance. He squinted his eyes and saw that said screen was residing inside one of the mech's cockpits, specifically Giorgio's mech! So Colm was hiding inside Giorgio's mech? The boy started to feel a bit violated, but as long as it kept the scientist safe it didn't mattered in the end.
ACHOO!
"Hmm? Who was that?" One of the guards asked, noticing the loud noise that occurred a few seconds ago. Giorgio almost felt like slapping Colm after seeing the man sneeze. How could a TV screen even sneeze? So loudly too? The guards were now more alert, but thankfully they hadn't found out the source of the noise yet. Giorgio doubted that they would bother to check the mechs, which meant that Colm was still safe for now.
BRAAAAAAAP
"What? Did you guys hear that noise?" One of the guards muttered, before covering their nose with their hand. "Ewww! Okay, who let it rip?" They asked, pointing at their co-workers. "No, that wasn't me!" The guards started accusing each other of farting as Giorgio felt thankful about being so distant from them. Still, he knew that the one who had farted was actually Colm, judging by how they acted inside of the cockpit. Wait...Colm's poot was powerful enough to penetrate the cockpit's defense and leak outside. If that was the case, then just how bad did it smell inside? Giorgio wondered if he should just scrap his mech at this point.
"Wait...This stench!" One of the more perceptive guards said, sniffing the air around like a dog as they localized the smell. "It's coming from here, but was someone here earlier?" They muttered, approaching Giorgio's mech as they gave it a quick look out of curiosity and voila, they saw the TV screen. "H-H-He's in here! He's inside the mech! Get him!" The guard warned, causing the other guards to raise their batons as they attempted to swarm the mech. This was bad, Colm had been found out! It was best for Giorgio to intervene before the guards not only caught Colm, but ruined his mech as well!
"Really, what are you even looking at?" Tomato muttered, about to finally notice Simon before Nat intervened for the sake of the mission. She grabbed Tomato by the face, surprising the girl as she pushed her back and put her back on a wall. "...What are you doing? Wait, are you that worried that I might steal him from y--"
"Mmmph!"
It was so abrupt, so sudden! Tomato blushed as her eyes couldn't even comprehend what was happening in front of her. Nat's face just surged forward. She pressed her lips on hers as her tongue slithered inside and fiercely wailed on Tomato's own. It was a kiss! "Mmmmph!" Tomato protested, her voice barely able to be heard due to Nat muffling it with her mouth. She couldn't even oppose her due to Nat's physical superiority, being locked to the wall as Nat kept pleasuring her mouth with a vicious tongue lock. Saliva kept being exchanged as Simon sneakily walked past the two, wondering if Nat really needed to do this. Tomato, of course, didn't know about Nat's motivations. She thought that the kiss was passionate for another reason. "WHAT THE SHIT?!? Did she have a crush on me all this time?!?" Confused thoughts filled her head as her body started to indulge in the debauchery a bit. After all, it was still her first kiss and perhaps even Nat's. It was a new experience for her and she started reluctantly enjoying it, being exposed to a whole new set of senses. She almost forgot the fact that the two of them were making out in a public hallway, but keyword 'almost'. Once Tomato's body had grown to resist the numbing pleasure, she quickly repelled Nat by shoving her away. Their mouths had been separated, but a slimy trail between their tongues lingered a bit before it dissipated as well.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!?" Tomato screamed, blushing and in tears as she clenched her fists. "W-Who gave you permission to assault me like that, you dyke?! Were you trying to get back at me for something?! W-Well...Screw you too!" She shouted, storming towards Nat as she started to ferociously bonk at her chest with her tiny fists. Of course, Nat was physically superior to Tomato and therefore felt nothing. It was still strange, she expected Tomato to use something like guns or bombs since her Stand stored several of them after all. It was as if she was just blindly lashing out, which turned out to be true as Tomato abruptly stopped with a face filled with tears.
"WAAAAAAAH! MY FIRST KISS WENT TO SOME UGLY ASS DYKE!!! I DON'T EVEN WANT TO LIVE ANYMORE AAAAAAAAH!" Tomato screamed her lungs out, crying a river of tears as she wet Nat's skirt and shoes. She knelt down, defeated as she kept sobbing loudly and attracting the attention of everyone nearby. Even Nat started to feel a bit bad for her, although her reason for crying was quite childish and pathetic. A first kiss? Really? Things like that wouldn't really matter anyways. Although, Nat still felt quite disappointed that she had to waste a kiss on such an unappreciative child.
Simon started to climb the school from the outside, which was quite the ingenious plan. Using Lucy's diamonds, he cloned himself repeatedly and started ascending the floors. On this way there, he could hear some loud sobbing. It sounded a bit familiar, like some stuck up girl he knew, but he couldn't focus on that now. On this way to the fifth floor he almost got caught by several teachers and students, but thankfully he made it out unscathed. Things started changing however as he reached the fifth floor and was greeted by...Spike's dumbfounded face in front of him!
"Aaaaah!" Spike screamed, terrified as he backed off. This startled Simon as well, almost causing him to fall down. "S-Simon! What the fuck are you doing outside of the school!" Spike growled, tapping the glass window that separated the two. "Are you window cleaning or something? Oh wait...Maybe you actually are! No, you totally are!" The boy smiled, as if he was confident that his theory was right. "Never mind, you're all right! You gave up your lunch just to clean our school windows, didn't you? Doing such a beautiful service for Red Rock Academy...I misjudged you, man!" Spike stated, feeling almost proud about guiding Simon towards the right path before he turned around. "Well, see ya! I gotta go to the headmaster's office!"
Well, it was good that Spike had completely misinterpreted Simon's actions. At least he wouldn't have to worry about the boy noticing him. Still, things took a dark turn once Simon finally entered the fifth floor. Spike came out of the headmaster's office, apparently done with what he needed to do. But the thing was...He left the office with Rene and was now carrying Rene's suitcase in his hand.
"Oi, Simon? You already done window cleaning?" Spike asked from a distance. Rene then noticed Simon as well.
"Oh, it's you again! You guys friends?" Rene asked.
