Character Profile
Alias: La Gran Rana (LGR)
Name: Only known to himself and his closest of families and friends, staying true to Lucha Libre traditions he's adopted for years.
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Country of Birth: United States
Personality: La Gran Rana is a very bold and proud person, not afraid to let everyone around know it. This can come off as ignorant and needlessly aggressive at his worst, however it's just a little hard for him to shake off his larger than life persona when he needs to maintain it mostly 24/7 for his profession. When given the time to understand and bond with his niche way of acting, he comes off more as a good man who amplifies his own personality for his job. In the heat of a battle, it wouldn't be too shocking to see his superhuman persona creep out, given he has the edge in said battle.
History: Since his mid-teens, La Gran Rana has only yearned for one thing. Wrestling. At all costs, he wished to become not only a wrestler bu the best damn wrestler he could be! Growing up in the area surrounding Laredo, Texas, LGR was always thrust into and surrounded by Mexican culture. This affected his language to an extent, adding pinches of Spanish to his dialect. However, the biggest affect his surroundings had on him was his infatuation for lucha libre. By the young age of 17, he had already completed his training into the world of wrestling, and ever since he traveled wherever he could to get his work. Along the way he developed his craft, becoming very well adept to hand-to-hand combat with a plethora of moves in his arsenal. Although, this was not the only thing he gained from his profession and life goals. At what was the lowest point in his career, his will to rise above his competition manifested itself, a manifestation only he could see! When in a pinch, his new found power gave him the edge to best any mortal man in his sport. While he never dared to cause any real harm to his opponents with his power, he has no problem with using it to win a match if only because it causes no permanent damage to his opponents.
Current Life: Currently, La Gran Rana is one of the fastest rising wrestlers within his region. He's not so huge and popular that a random disappearance would cause major alarm, in fact most would likely take it as him taking a break for injury(after all, his work rate is suspiciously high compared to his amigos). However his rise to popularity has allowed for many to see him on television. At this point in time, LGR hardly ever ponders the idea of others with abilities like him, so using his own on television is of little concern to him... after all, nobody else could see his secret power up til now! Right?
Skills: Well versed in hand to hand combat. Fairly solid at coming up with plans on the spot, as any wrestler would need to be. A growing charisma truly necessary for Luchador.
Weaknesses: His prideful and sometime fiery personality can sometime get the best of him in the heat of battle, underestimating an opponent would not be out of the question for La Gran Rana. LGR will come too find he has no answer to projectiles! His profession hardly, if ever, involves projectiles so unless he has an amigo to save his tail... he just might be done for!
Appearance: La Gran Rana comes off appears at a strong 6'2. A bulky luchador, but lean enough to accommodate for his fast pace style in combat. The only prominent facial feature are his deep blue eyes. Everything else is obscured by his classic La Gran Rana mask, which by his own tradition might as well be his own face. If ever in his wrestling attire, his tights will always match his mask.
Other Details: A true Luchador NEVER unmasks, to do so even in private company would bring great shame.
Stand Profile
Stand Name:
「Damage Case」
Ability: Reverse Healing - Damage Case caries the ability to restore injuries and damage to a target. However, when it restores an object or creature to a broken state, it only remains this way visually and mentally (if used on a creature). The time frame of which it reverse heals is completely depended on how long or how frequent it hits a target. If only struck once, Damage Case will bring back something very recent. If struck more than once or if constant contact is engaged with Damage Case for long enough, it can potentially bring back injuries and impurities from very early years in a targets life. In the case of an object, it could create the illusion that the object had reverted to it's raw materials. (Elaborated further below)
Stand Type: Close-Ranged Stand
Power: B
Speed: B
Range: C
Durability: A
Precision: D
Learning: E
Appearance: Damage Case takes on the form of a very mechanical version of the famous Luchador icon, El Santo, who is currently in his best years around the time of Streetlight Manifesto. The chest piece of Damage Case seems to resemble a motor. Damage Case is notably bigger than El Santo, standing at 6'4, it can only be assumed it manifested at this height because El Santo is a larger than life figure in the eyes of LGR. One other major exception is the color scheme of Damage Case. Rather than the iconic White/Silver of the legend, Damage Case takes the colors from LGR's attire and seemingly splashes them all over itself. It's clear La Gran Rana's stand manifested this way as he wishes to see himself on par with a legend in his sport.
Example of Power:
Creature - Let's assume the victim in this case broke his leg one year ago, and between then and now thy only suffered minor injuries, such as paper cuts and knee scrapes. If only touched/punched by Damage Case for a short time, the victim would begin to feel and see paper cuts and scrapes return to their body. As the fight continues, if attacked more and more the broken leg symptoms would begin to emerge for the victim, when in actuality there would be nothing there to a normal eye. At the very least, the pain restored by Damage Case serves as a fine distraction for LGR to get in close for a melee attack of his own.
Object - For this example, I think I'll go for a wall. If LGR needed or wanted to inspect the wall he could use his Damage Case to keep in contact with the wall to reveal any previous faults or weak points the wall may hold. If he really needed to for whatever reason, he could keep in contact with the wall until it reverted to it's raw materials. Although it's important to keep note that this would only be visual, LGR nor any other person would be able to walk through the wall or something. However, whatever Damage Case reveals can be potentially exploited. For instance, attacking a discovered weak spot.
