Name:
Jubilee Hozier
Age:
28
Country of Birth:
England
Country of Residence:
England
Languages Spoken:
English
Personality:
Jubilee has a calm demeanour most of the time, gracefully reacting to both the highest of praises and the worst of offences. He's often sarcastic and likes to make fun of people that he meets and often takes breaks when hired to do something. Deep inside he's quite scrupulous when it comes to accomplishing his objectives and uses his apparently innocuous personality to fool his foes into believing that he's nothing special.
History:
Jubilee was the firstborn of a noble family, christened "Jubilee" because of that, since he was supposed to be the "ram's horn" that would guide the family's lineage to a higher plane of prosperity. Because of this his parents always wanted him to try his best to become a great politician, preventing him from indulging in "rough" noble work, such as hunting or sword fighting. However this prohibition had the opposite effect, since Jubilee would desire the objects out of his reach even more. One day his uncle gifted him a rapier and while he should have given it to his parents, he secret kept it hidden and started training with the sword in his room, imitating the sword movements of noblemen practicing in the garden outside his room's window. Unlike most swordsmen, Jubilee trained only in the basics, being slashes, stabs and parries, never going beyond that. However he has mastered those moves because of that, reducing the need for strategy or complicated sword moves.
Eventually he decided to reveal his secret to his parents once he had reached maturity, saying that he wanted to learn the way of the sword instead of having a successful political career. His parents were initially offended and took his rapier away from him, but during the night a werewolf suddenly assaulted the family's mansion. Jubilee quickly retrieved his rapier and fought the monster, dealing severe injuries to it before he was knocked down. Before he could be killed, a hunter with a cone-shaped golden helm intervened, crushing the werewolf with an enormous wheel. Soon after the accident, Jubilee's parents received a letter from the Church, inviting them to send their son to the Church Hunters since his skills showed promise, according to a hunter's testimony. His parents reluctantly sent their son to avoid any arguments with the Church and Jubilee was given the chance to become a true master swordsman. Once he grew comfortable, however, his passion for sword fighting started to fade and he became more interested in poetry and romance. He reluctantly helped the Church Hunters for a few more years before he was able to retire in a small village far away.
Notable Skills:
Has a peculiar sword style that emphasizes basics, always tries to have unfair fights by limiting his opponents in some way.
Notable Weaknesses:
His slender figure prevents him from taking many hits.
Important Items:
A ceremonial golden rapier, the same one his uncle gifted to him years ago.
Appearance:
Jubilee has short, blond hair, part of it covering one of his eyes. He usually wears nobleman's attire, even while out on the field and his skin is pale white due to him being confined to his family's mansion for more than a decade. Because of this his veins can easily be seen, their bluish texture revealing his noble origins.
STAND PROFILE
Name:
Take Me To Church
Ability:
Take Me To Church takes the form of a crystal rapier that is capable of creating gravitational rifts in the world depending on certain moves the user does. A downwards stab creates a gravitational rift that pulls foes closer to the user, while an upwards stab creates a rift that pushes foes away and deflects attacks. A stab generates a small, concentrated sphere of gravity, which upon hitting a foe generates a hole comparable to a bullet, giving the user a ranged attack as well. Downsides of the Stand are that the effects of gravity have only a determined range, the bullet flying for only 10 meters before dissipating and the rifts attracting or repelling only foes that are within 5 meters of the user. The rapier is also quite fragile and if it breaks the user has to have a period of rest before being able to create another one.
Type:
