Crause Barlow

Personality: Crause is completely and utterly loyal to his superior officers and the United Nations Armed Forces at large. He trusts the words of his superiors implicitly and will follow orders without question; that isn't to say Crause is dumb, rather that he prioritizes duty and the chain of command over his own personal feelings. In turn he expects loyalty and respect from those lower than him in the chain of command, but returns that respect in kind; he always maintains a polite and respectful manner even with his soldiers. Amongst his personal squad Crause is only slightly more personable, but he would nonetheless lay down his life for them as they would for him. He has little in the way of personal preferences or creature comforts as he was wholly dedicated himself to the soldier's life. He does maintain a rugged sense of warrior's honour, preferring to fight worthy opponents one on one in a fair fight, but this again is far less important than his duties to the armed forces.
History: Growing up in Johannesburg Crause Barlow's life was hardly ideal; both his parents died in a car accident when he was young. He was one of the unfortunate children to fall through the Foster system, increasingly falling into delinquency to provide some semblance of escape from his life... that is until he had a chance encounter with an old mercenary named Kores Ludowicks. Kores adopted and raised Crause, instilling in him the virtues of honour, discipline and putting one's duty before their personal goals. Crause ended up joining the South African Army and saw action in various border disputes in the north and east, serving with distinction and rising to the rank of Captain before enlisting with the UN Armed Forces. He was shuffled into a joint US-UN Special Tasks Group that performed Black Ops operations all over the world. It was during his service that he met and would come to command a soldier by the name of Bennett Andante; the two have a very cold, almost antipathetic relationship even as they respect each other as warriors. Shortly after Bennett was shipped off to Mars Crause was promoted to the rank of Colonel before the STG was reorganized and assimilated into one of the General's standing armies; Crause now serves as this general's right hand.
Notable Skills: Master Tactician, Exceptional Close-Quarter and Ranged Combatant, Capable Leader, Coup D'Oeil.
Notable Weaknesses: His strategic and on the spot thinking can be lacking, his unbending loyalty to regulation and the chain of command can put him in a weak position, prideful to the point of being exploited.

Appearance: Crause stands at 6'3" inches with a taught, well muscled body drilled to within an inch of perfection. His Hazel hair is short and a meticulously maintained Harvard cut as per military regulation as well as personal pride; he is always clean shaven and his heavy green eyes betray his youth. Crause is almost never seen out of his Officer's uniform, but when he is he prefers simple unadorned black or grey shirts and pants.

Unfortunately his feet must be firmly planted to either the ground or something connected to the ground(a hill or cliff) made of earth for his powers to take effect.
