Name: Taro Hirai the IInd
Age: 21
Country of Birth: USA
Country of Residence: Unknown
Languages Spoken: English
Personality: Taro is calm and cheerful most of the time. He tries to console or motivate allies in times of need or when he notices that they are down, but doesn't do the same for his enemies. Taro absolutely despises Stand users, at least those not working with the government due to a traumatic event in his past, making him look like an almost different person in battle. He is quite polite and well versed in etiquette, often causing people to erroneously see him as a womanizer. He values his allies a lot, but can't tolerate betrayal or desertion since he thinks those are cowardly values and applies this rule to society as well, valuing people who work hard over parasites and outlaws. Taro also has strong feelings towards the concept of truth, thinking that those who lie are despicable and vows to show the entire world about the truth of Stand users and about the dangers they bring to Earth.
He's almost always by Lupe's side, particularly caring about him due to their similar past.
History: Taro Hirai was born to a family of Japanese businessmen that had amassed a fortune on Earth thanks to their asteroid mining program. He left his mother's womb during a stay in the US and lived there for several years before an horrible event happened: A Stand user jealous of his family's wealth attacked his family, slaughtering everyone but him. This traumatic event awakened his Stand which allowed him to escape the murderer. The Stand user was executed and the government was considering sending young Taro to Mars, but changed their mind upon seeing the child swearing revenge, blaming Stand users in general for the death of his parents. They decided to teach him how to use his Stand and make him another one of their Stand user fighters, which he eventually became.
Despite the saying that time heals all wounds, Taro's hatred towards Stand users never waned. His general attitude towards others was always polite and friendly, but people knew that he released all of his rage during missions. Thankfully his rage is reduced thanks to his friendship with Lupe Fiasco, someone he could easily relate to due to their similar pasts. Lupe views Taro as some sort of mentor figure while Taro considers him the only "good" Stand user in existence. Currently Taro has been tasked to cover the espionage sector of the Anti-Stand User part of the military, spying on Martians along with Lupe to find potential rebels.
Notable Skills: Calm and composed and always puts the mission above him. Is a talented cook.
Notable Weaknesses: His immense hatred for Stand users can cloud his judgement.
Important Items: A small cloaked pistol with a silencer he carries on him at all times.
Appearance: Taro has a slender build and is 1,8 meters tall. He has slightly long brown hair that almost reaches his shoulders and brown eyes. He usually wears a brown coat along with a striped tie in black and red colors. His usual pants are crimson red and his shoes are dark brown. He often wears black gloves wherever he goes somewhere.
STAND PROFILE
Name: Angel Eyes
Ability: Angel Eyes lets its user force other living creatures except humans to share their sight with them. For example Taro can use the Stand to force a bird to share their sight from above with him, allowing him to see from the bird's perspective and observe his surroundings from above. The creatures affected also have no idea that their vision is being shared, much to the user's pleasure. The Stand has also an enormous range, able to see through the sight of any creature within 100 meters of the user. A drawback of this ability is that the perspective also depends on the animal, so if a rat is interested in a piece of cheese more than a target Taro is following, Taro might only see cheese nearby instead of the person he's looking for. Any objects or tools that affect the sight of an animal sharing vision with Taro will also temporarily disable Taro's own left eye. Throwing a flashbang to a creature that Taro tagged with his Stand would be the same as throwing a flashbang near Taro, for example.
Type: Ability
Power: E
Speed: A
Range: A (100 meters)
Durability: E
Precision: A
Learning: A
Appearance: Angel Eyes has no physical form, but while active Taro's left eye's entire pupil turns purple and a glowing, inverted cross-like symbol appears on it. His right eye is unaffected, allowing him to see things nearby while his left eye sees from the tagged creature's point of view.
MECH PROFILE
Name: Wrapped In Black
Height: 30m
Firepower: E
Accuracy: A
Melee: A
Speed: A
Maneuverability: C
Durability: C
Appearance: Wrapped In Black is a giant, humanoid mecha in a black and red color scheme, appearing lightly armored in every part except vital areas that are heavily protected, such as the parts that link the mecha's limbs together. The mecha has a very "royal" look, wearing a gigantic regal cloth, akin to that of a king. It appears to be normal cloth, but in reality it's made of an incredibly durable material that can withstand any sort of foot soldier weaponry, but is only slightly sturdier than the normal material used to produce basic mechs. In order to compliment its regal attire even further, the mech's head is purposefully shaped like that of a king's crown, made from shiny materials as well.
Weapons and Abilities:
Dual Rapiers/Black Hole Lance: Wrapped In Black carries a pair of giant rapiers with it, both of them incredibly sharp and able to slash and pierce even through the sturdiest of mechs. While they are already lethal weapons, the true power of these rapiers is awakened once they are attached together, forming a giant lance, also known as the Black Hole Lance by Taro's most feared foes. The Black Hole Lance acts like a normal thrusting lance and its piercing capabilities aren't that different from the mech's rapiers, but upon a successful thrust with enough speed, the lance will pierce through "space", causing an artificial blackhole that sucks enemy mechs nearby, not harming them but allowing WIB to easily impale them with its spear.
