CHARACTER PROFILE
Name: Robert "RoRo" Rotten
Age: 40
Country of Birth: Iceland
Country of Residence: Mars Colony
Languages Spoken: Icelandic, English
Personality: RoRo is a deeply troubled, nihilistic individual who blames others for his problems and never accepts responsibility for any actions. Instead, he generally holds grudges that he rarely would ever drop, especially for the death of his sister which he blames on those who bullied him as a child. To take out his frustrations, he enjoys hurting others with his traps and plans, especially those who dare to call themselves "innocent bystanders".
Added to this, he has a somewhat...illogical mind. RoRo can only ever think of the most useless or convoluted way to handle a situation and this often leads to most things very much not going his way without any self reflection. This means that he never learns from his own mistakes, so he is guaranteed to repeat them time and time again. However, he is fairly capable of concealing his ideas and schemes, in some ways proving to be quite Machiavellian with his minions. If he had another to reign in his crazier ideas, he would likely be a troubling force.
RoRo insists others address him as Robert, or Lord Rotten...yet everyone always finds about his nickname and mocks him with it, much to his disdain. Lastly, he has a peculiar habit of randomly bursting into a musical number.
History: RoRo was born to a loving couple of bakers in Iceland, though they were American migrant, explaining RoRo's less than Scandinavian sounding name. For a boy born to such a stable family along with his darling little sister, Stephanie, many are not sure what went wrong with the boy and why he turned to crime. In truth, he was the subject to much bullying as a child due to his odd looks, his terrible performance in school and his general awkward social behavior. Some especially mocked his family nickname of "RoRo".
Marginalized by most of his peers, at 14 he drastically attempted to end his own life to escape from the misery he was facing on a daily basis and tried to hang himself from the light bulb in his bedroom, though this failed when the ceiling light collapsed and landed on him. Stephanie, who was playing upstairs at the time fell through the hole in the ceiling to her death at this time as well, leaving the bakers with only one child. While he was in hospital, he failed to recover fore several months as is stand was beginning to manifest and seemed not to be coming out of his catatonic state, leading to his parents taking drastic measures to try to cure him. They turned to a shady "medicine man" who claimed to know how to treat what ailed RoRo, who in reality was a stand user who taught the young boy to use and operate his stand...with the condition that he become his apprentice.
Despite being told that he was not to make himself suspicious or known, RoRo decide to exact his revenge against those who taunted him by using his new stand, We are Number One, to create clones of himself and catch all of his teachers and bullies in a series of convoluted traps. These were highly effective, bringing a great deal of fear to him, but he was quickly thwarted by the authorities and became part of the group of first stand users to be sent to the Mars colony aged 15.
And at the colony, things were not different. Many of the others knew his background and judged him for his reactions with only a few displaying any sympathy for him, but this went mostly unnoticed by RoRo. Instead, he decided they were all like everyone else and took off on his own to a secret cave facility that his clones built for him. In order to survive, he has been stealing food from the other colonists and trapping anyone who tries to find him.
Since there is nothing for him back home, RoRo has spent the last 25 years attempting to take over Mars and make everyone his slaves...it has not been very successful.
Notable Skills: He can lay convoluted plans, has a great deal of musical talent, a good singing voice and can dance like a professional.
Notable Weaknesses: He has no combat skills and has to rely on traps. Despite his ability to create detailed plans, they tend be impractical and miss very obvious details.
Important Items: Wacky super-villain cave base with complicated machinery that generally doesn't work at all.
Appearance: With a greasy quiff and quite thick eyebrows, saying that RoRo sticks out a little is quite the understatement. With his icy blue gaze, he stares into your soul and you know you want it while he poses in fabulous ways, standing at a modest 5'9'' while his noodle arms limply hang from his side. Age has taken a little toll on him with a few wrinkles and grey hairs there, although he is not an old man, but being 40 and living in a dusty cave on mars probably isn't helpful.
