CHARACTER PROFILE
Name: Sultan Skadoway
Age: 27
Country of Birth: USA
Country of Residence: USA
Languages Spoken: English
Personality: There is a marked difference between Sultan's interactions with Stand-Users and with ordinary people. The latter he tends to consider irrelevant, considering them in an almost sociopathic way; after all, his Stand allows him to remove them from consideration with a thought. While this attitude doesn't actually extend to true sociopathy -- he still sees them as people, just ones that he can safely ignore and that he tends to forget exist in the same world as him -- he is still arrogant and full of bravado when dealing with them, and can often forget that they are there if they have no money on his person.
On the opposite side of the coin, Sultan's attitude when dealing with other Stand-Users is nervous at best and terrified at worst. His powers can't work on them directly, so in his world-view they are the only thing in the world that he can't stop from effecting him in a negative fashion. His fear tends to express itself by way of frustration, bitterness, and minor amounts of lashing out.
Sultan also believes that everyone gets one miracle in their lifetime -- and that he's already used up his. He sometimes wonders if this only applies to Stand-Users though, and can actually get philosophical about it or related subjects.
History: Growing up in the latter half of the great depression, Sultan's family was always desperate for money. They were homeless and unemployed before the Depression hit, and things only went further downhill for them when it did. His father died during a particularly cold winter when he was six, and things went predictably downhill for him and his mother from there; eventually his mother abandoned him, explaining to Sultan that though she had always wanted better for him, the financial strain of caring for both him and herself was simply impossible to overcome.
Starving on the streets, the idea of stealing food to stay alive never occurred to Sultan; instead, his mother's parting words still with him, obtaining money was the only plan he had for survival. This need, his starvation, and his mother's parting words all lead to the development of his stand in the more or less immediate wake of her departure. At the time his Stand possessed only one ability: to store an infinite amount of coins within its own body, where none could take it from him, and to dispense it at will. Though his Stand had little in the way of special powers at the time, the usefulness of a set of hands that no one but himself could see was immediately apparent to Sultan, and he set about using it to steal money out of people's pockets unseen. As time went by and he used his Stand to obtain currency at no particular cost to himself, it began to grow. He learned how to move it faster and more precisely, to make it less likely for people to notice their wallets seemingly flying out of their pockets. With his gradually increasing wealth, he managed to eke out a living for himself, renting an apartment in his home city.
However, his good luck couldn't quite last, and the tendency of Stand users to draw towards one another bit him in the ass. One of his targets could in fact see Money for Nothing, and took exception to being robbed by it. A fight ensued, one that would have killed Sultan had his Stand not evolved for what would prove to be its final time, an event that Sultan saw and always remembered as a Miracle,. Using its newfound ability to paralyze the mundane humans that had been mind-controlled by the enemy Stand, he managed to avoid being killed and escape with his life.
Now aware of the existence of others who could see his Stand, Sultan became determined to avoid them in order to prevent such a similar life-threatening situation from occurring again. He began checking to see if someone was a Stand-User before robbing them, and recalling a remark by his attacker about Stand-Users being attracted together by fate, began traveling across the country, so that there was less time for Stand Users to be drawn to his location (Or at least, such was his logic). He stayed in hotels at first, but soon found that too expensive and began camping with a tent instead, though he still stayed in hotels during the winter months in colder areas of the country. After a while, he found an old motorcycle in a junkyard, complete with sidecar, and while it didn't run... Money for Nothing was able to make it go anyway. Stowing his camping gear in his sidecar he continued on his way, until one day he passed through a small town in eastern Washington...
Notable Skills: Sultan has an almost supernatural awareness when it comes to currency. He can literally smell coinage that's sitting at the bottom of a sewage ditch, and can hear the crinkling of a dollar bill from a hundred meters. This doesn't extend to non-money objects however, not even ones made of the same materials. He is also skilled at using his Stand to pickpocket.
Notable Weaknesses: A serious money fetish. Sultan hordes coins in his Stands, and will drop whatever he's doing simply to pick up a coin on the road. He's smart enough to withhold from that sort of thing when fighting a Stand-User, but the presence of money will still be seriously distracted by the presence of money that isn't in his possession... and if he's facing adversity that doesn't come in the form of a Stand-User, the urge will be far more difficult for him to resist. He also considers money to be the solution to every non-Stand-related problem. Conversely however, the immunity to MfN's powers that Stand-Users possess makes him paranoid around them, as his usual "escape button" for when he's in trouble doesn't work on them, and he tends to fear other Stand-Users to the point that he will often overestimate their capabilities by an order of magnitude. He also has a bit of blindness where money is concerned; when faced with a problem that doesn't involve or seem to involve a Stand, he generally can't so much as consider the possibility of a solution to that problem that doesn't involve money. His fear of Stand-Users overrides this, however.
Important Items: His motorcycle, Lady Rider. It's a rusted over wreck that he found in a junkyard, but Money for Nothing allows it to run anyway. Fortunately for him it also has a sidecar, as he probably would not be able to keep his balance on it otherwise. He also keeps camping gear in said sidecar, tent included.
Appearance: Sultan's graphite-colored hair is perpetually unkempt, and manages to stick up noticeably despite being cut short. He's well on the thin side, and his limbs and neck are a bit longer than the average for most people. He's about 5'10" with green eyes. He wears a ratty gray parka -- usually unzipped and with the hood down unless it's particularly cold -- and usually won't take it off until the temperature hits ninety degrees. The rest of his clothes are a bit worn as well, including his sturdy boots and dark jeans. Despite otherwise looking something like an eskimo greaser, under his parka he wears a white button-up shirt and a ratty black tie, the latter of which is usually looped around his neck and hanging there rather than being tied properly.
STAND PROFILE
Name: Money for Nothing
Ability: Rather than stab wounds, Money for Nothing's knives leave behind coin slots. If the blade of the knife makes contact with something that is not a Stand or a Stand-User, it will phase into it and create a coin slot. Anything stabbed in this way becomes coin-operated. Not only will it be unable to move or do anything unless coins are inserted in the slot, but it can also force things to act beyond their capacity if enough coins are inserted: guns will fire a bullet for every coin placed in the slot without need for a reload, a tree will grow a fruit every time a coin is inserted, cars will run for as long as they have change rather than as long as they have gas, and so on. Additionally, any coins inserted into one of these slots end up inside of Money for Nothing's body, where they can be dispensed from the grooves in its claws, essentially giving its user infinite coins as long as those coins are only used in slots made by the stand. This dispensation can actually be done at a significant level of force, allowing the dispensed coins to be used as offensive projectiles, or to insert coins into slots from outside of its movement range. Sultan calls this attack "Millionaire Blues."
If Money for Nothing attempts to stab a Stand or a Stand-User, it will behave like a normal knife; given the Stand's low durability, this will likely result in the blade being shattered. The blades can be repaired if left holstered in the Stand's back for several days, but cannot be properly used in the meantime.

Appearance: Money for Nothing's body is all metal, silver, gold and copper flowing into one another as if the metals were all poured into a man-shaped mold. Its face is blank, save for a golden emblem shaped like a dollar sign; a similar emblem, copper and shaped like a cent sign, decorates its neck. Its fingers are talons, the inside of the fingers bearing deep, slot-like channels that disappear into its hands. Its weapon is a dagger with a four-foot long handle and a four-inch long blade; the handle terminates with a pommel shaped like a red ball. These daggers are normally holstered in its back.
