Name: Chris Ace
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Country of Birth: USA
Personality: Quiet and conservative, Chris Ace exemplifies the classic 1950s family man: plenty of ugly sweaters and fleeces, a burning postwar patriotism, and a love of family and friends. Often a bit out of sorts when dealing with young people these days, he is nevertheless a calming presence who takes solace in his daily routine of his 9-to-5 job. More of a thinker than a fighter, Chris dislikes fighting, contrary to the aggressive appearance and nature of his stand. The man suffers from moderate PTSD and often thinks about his time island-hopping in the Pacific War and his time spent in occupation Japan where he learned some of the language. He tries to be welcoming and open to new people but finds it hard to truly be at peace and at ease, especially with the development of his Stand.
History: Chris Ace was born to the swinging and booming 1920s. Coming from a family of Old Money that made its fortunes during the 19th century as railroad tycoons, Chris lived a fairly pampered and privileged childhood. He remained the oldest of three brothers and often went on misadventures with them through their neighborhood in New York City. However, the Great Depression crippled the Ace family, leaving them in ruin as their fortune slipped away. Reduced to poverty with massive debts, Chris and his family moved westward to start over as potato farmers. The 1930s were a miserable time, memories of luxury and lavish wealth still danced in the back of Chris's mind as he reluctantly tried to forget the past. During this time working as the eldest son, the primary workhorse of the new farm, Chris became physically tougher and stronger, growing into maturity during these hard years. Through the dust bowls, the poor harvests, and the one room shack he and his extended family lived in, Chris knew that when he came of age he was going to make sure his own children never had to suffer like he did in this hellish time- a vow he made to his wife, Julia, when they were married at the end of the decade. When war with the Axis broke out, all three of the Ace brothers joined the Allies, although they were separated across the world. Chris was placed in the Pacific where he joined the marines during their campaigns of island hopping, losing friends in the process. The war was perhaps even crueler to the man than the Depression was, during the final stages both of his younger brothers had been killed during D-day, leaving him the sole son. With crippling depression and anxiety, Chris managed to survive to the end of the war, staying in Japan for 5 years before flying back to the US. Upon arriving home, Chris tried to adjust back to normal society, moving to Fallbrook with his wife and children to start over for the second time in his life.
It was only one day, after work, when Chris was having one of his most severe PTSD flashbacks that his stand materialized- flipping the car he was in the process. Upon realizing the strange dinosaur-headed humanoid watching him, apparently invisible to all others, Chris naturally panicked and was alarmed. Yet, upon taking time off while healing from the accident to understand this new figure, became more intrigued and interested in its ability to manipulate gravity. While he recovered from his injuries, Chris began learning some of the basics of his stand, not knowing others like him, and honing his abilities over time. Deciding that such power was surely too much for someone like him, Chris attempted to continue living with the presence, hoping that it will simply go away after long enough.
Current Life: Chris Ace lives an unassuming life in the suburbs of Fallbrook with his wife Julia and his two daughters Catherine and Juliette, the lights in his life. He works a steady job as the Vice President of Marketing at Otho Electronics, a research and development company based there. The 9-to-5 cycle is his ritual, though he rarely goes out drinking after work and instead usually comes home to watch his small box-like television with his family.
Skills:
Weaknesses:
Appearance: A tall and intimidating manin typical JoJo fashion, Chris stands at 6'2" tall with a muscular frame. His brown hair is always combed precisely the same way, gelled back to stay in place. He has bright green eyes that seem to glow with excitement and interest. Although he is clean shaven, he has ample amounts of chest and body hair to compensate.
Other Details: Always wears the same outfit without fail.
Stand Name:「Wherever I May Roam」
Ability:Wherever I May Roam's central power revolves around the relative manipulation of gravity. While touching an object or person with either hand, the stand is able to alter the target's singular gravity, changing its direction as well as somewhat its intensity. Wherever I May Roam can only affect one target at a time with this ability. Although a target may 'fall' or be pulled by artificially changed gravity, the stand will lose control over them if they let go. The intensity of this ability on another stand or human is enough to slow the average person's movements considerably, making them heavier than normal but not enough to innately hurt or crush them in itself. Another feature of note is that while Wherever I May Roam is able to alter the direction of gravity relative to the target, it cannot attract nearby objects or things to it, i.e be omnidirectional, the target's gravitational pull can only be one direction at a time. Additionally, after the initial touch and gravity shift in a specific direction, the direction cannot be changed again unless Wherever I May Roam lets go of the target and touches it again.

- Eye Of the Beholder:Wherever I May Roam grabs one of its eyes and 'attaches' it to a target, having it stick to them or be in contact with them. While the Eye Of The Beholder is active on a target, Wherever I May Roam's base ability is able to be channeled through the affected object as if it were an extension of the stand's own body. This eye can be seen however, as it is simply a small reptillian looking eye, and thus can be injured. The only way for this ability to end is for Wherever I May Roam to pick up the eye and place it back in its socket.
