Character Profile
Name:
Walter Elric
Gender:
Male
Age:
31
Country of Birth:
Canada
Personality:
Eloquent and poetic, yet rough around the edges, Walter is a skewed and honest individual. His eccentric attitude puts off many people, as they view him only as a homeless druggie home from the Korean war. Preferring to stay in the back to heal his allies, he isn't typically in the center of a conflict. Walter's mind has been warped by the many horrible things he has done in the war, and refuses to harm anymore women or children. He is still haunted by the day he had to sever a young woman's arm to rescue her from rubble, and has horrible nightmares almost every other night. Has a 'Messiah Complex', and thinks that he can save anybody from harm.
History:
Despite his past in the military, he loathes the government as a result of their attempts to extract the 'angel of death' that lived within him.
Wandering the town, he'll pick up the odd job or two, and sleep where he can. His PTSD is undiagnosed, but he can still hear the gunfire and the smell of smoke and lead wherever he goes. Before the war, he had been a star football player in Fallbrook. As a member of the Fallbrook Mothmen, he was the single most prized player on his team. Then, when he was 19, he was called to the front lines of the war in Korea. In those horrific days, he rejected his valuable faith in god, and became a nihilist. He tries to forget that war, but the thoughts still haunt him. In his time in the front lines, he was blessed by an 'angel', and was never the same. Instead of dying from the wound to the chest, he gained new powers of healing and other psychic abilities. The government was fascinated by this, and wanted to gain this power for themselves. Fortunately for Walter, the compound was bombed before they could finish their experimentation. Shielded by his 'guardian angel' he survived and hitched a plane back to the USA. The military believes he is dead, and the rest is history.
Current Life:
A homeless wanderer, Walter took to freelance work, like gardening and working at a mercantile store. His power makes him anxious, and he wishes to do more for the world than just sit idle.
Skills:
Skilled medic and valuable comrade, Walter will never surrender or let his friends die; never again. Walter is a master at investigating crime scenes, and can easily name any body part. He is relatively strong, being able to lift larger objects with ease. His real power is in his stand, however.
Weaknesses:
Has an irrational fear of loud noises due to his days as a soldier, and refuses to harm a woman or child. He won't sacrifice a friend for anything, not even his own life. His 'Messiah Complex', leads him to believe that he can salvage any situation, whether that's possible or not. In addition, a well researched villain can make Walter's abilities void.
Appearance:
Tall and muscular with tan skin and shaggy, brown hair. He wears whatever comes to him, but typically likes to wear a tattered black jacket with holes all over it. He washes his clothes at the laundromat down the street. He carries a spring loaded tactical knife with him in case he needs some instant offense or a method to pull bullets out without his stand. He also sometimes carries a revolver.
Other Details:
Walter was born on the Canadian border, and originally lived in Seattle. He enjoys a nice cup of tea before bed, as it helps calm his nerves.
Stand Profile
Stand Name:
BLOOD.
Ability(s):
BLOOD. has the ability to repair blood vessels, arteries, bones and most other bodily functions including parts of the respiratory and central nervous system by sacrificing some of his own blood to 'clog up' their blood flow to make the afflicted body part go into a state of 'super-healing'. This does not block off the limb entirely, but allows some blood to pass through, which produces a type of pain-suppressant as well. It can also temporarily (Depends on opponent's durability stat.) disable non-vital systems for an enemy, but only at the cost of some of his blood, which is then used to clog up the enemies arteries. These affects aren't fatal, as they are only in place for a few seconds. BLOOD. also allows Walter to regenerate his own blood over a period of a few minutes to allow him a greater recovery speed. This regeneration happens automatically, and is practically painless. Walter's blood vessels are supercharged, which both makes him regenerate blood and bleed at an incredible rate. The Stand can be used on himself, but only by taking blood from a compatible partner. Walter can see if blood is compatible simply by looking at a person.

Appearance: BLOOD. takes the form of a colossal rusty syringe, with red, gelatinous blood inside of it and two diminuitive angel wings on both sides, representing Walter's 'messiah complex'. It's needle is 5 centimeters long, and the stand's ability differs on how deep it's pushed in.
A0
Example of Power:
Walter calls upon BLOOD. to heal a bleeding ally by thrusting the syringe into the person's bloodstream. The ability hurts a lot, but the bleeding soon stops./ BLOOD. is stabbed into an enemies lung. Walter begins to profusely lose blood from his mouth, but this makes the enemy collapse to the ground from asphyxiation. His allies start to attack the weakened enemy.
After gaining Mortal Man, Walter remains largely the same, with a bit more confident of a personality. He also loses some of his messiah complex as he begins to realize that he is now the one in need of help, that he is the Mortal Man.
Stand Profile
Stand Name:
BLOOD. Mortal Man
Ability:
As an evolution of BLOOD, Mortal Man takes the form of bullets made of blood in any type of projectile (This includes non-weapons!). If he uses his pistol or any other projectile, he has the choice to connect the clip to his blood stream via a medical tube. He could also connect it to another persons veins, but this is far less common. Upon firing the bullet he loses some of his blood, having it converted to bullets instead. These bullets vary in power. Walter could fire a small amount of his blood to use as a distraction or fire a lot of blood with the force of a .45 caliber bullet.
He can fire many small ones, but only six .45 caliber ones. Walter could also drain his entire arm and fire a huge blast of blood from the weapon. This leaves him wounded and the weapon damaged, but deals a lot of damage to the enemy. These blood bullets can't wound non-stand users. A bullet to the head is almost always fatal, as these bullets have similar penetrative properties to actual bullets. Another note, the bullets are amplified if drained from an open wound, and will make the wound scab over very quickly. Walter can connect several projectiles to himself at a time, but this drains blood very quickly.
The stand's second ability is the same as the first, but it heals allies instead of wounding enemies. This requires high precision, as Walter can only plug the wound and regenerate an allies health if it hits directly on their wound. This is excruciatingly painful, but works well when BLOOD. is too far away from a wounded ally.
Stand Type:
Bound
Unless specified, stats are dependent on how much blood Walter uses to fire the bullet. This is what affects its caliber.

Appearance:
Three foot long medical tubes coming from the clip or chamber of the projectile and piercing the vein(s). It enters flesh with ease, creating very tiny holes in the body. If pulled out quickly, a small amount of flesh will be pulled out along with it.
Example of Power: Walter pulls out his revolver, the tube automatically going through his hand and into his vein. Then he could do one of two things; he could fire a blood bullet at an enemy and damage them, or he could shoot a wounded ally and plug/heal their wound. He chooses to do both, firing a small amount of undried blood into the enemies eyes, quickly drying and blinding them temporarily. Walter then fires a medium sized bullet to his allies leg, where the wound is. The wound heals after a few seconds, enabling Walter enough time to take cover.
