Name:
Emily Dolores
Gender:
Female
Age:
23
Country of Birth:
U.S.A
Personality:
A woman that barely has the care to value others, or even herself a majority of the time. Brooding and the opposite of headstrong; her ideals are limited to that of having a simple companion that understands her. Though she's boiled it down to the fact that she'll probably never meet someone like that. Neither a boy nor a girl she could indulge in the little piteous term she winces at just thinking about it. Love. She alienates herself from people and locks herself in a tight compacted room, reading murder novels or watching television. Truly the ideal woman in her imagination. Although when people are brought into her mixture, she covers herself in make-up, straightens out her hair a tad, and cups the facade of a fake idealistic woman over her own. Very manipulative of those willing to go through thick and thin for her. Although it always seems to go wrong in the end. In reality, the one true factor for her overall existence is to just live easily, peacefully, and quietly. Without any other living begin torturing her idea of a simple lifestyle. If she can't have virtue or variety in her life -
Neither can everyone else.
History:
A small city girl that grew up in a crooked apartment, with a crooked father, in a crooked city. Constantly she was abused for her uselessness and blame for the unexpected death of their mother. The abuse took in a variety of forms. Sexual, physical. But mostly the mental kind. Overflowing guilt strained her body, which resulted in several suicide attempts by overdosing on her medication. She was constantly taken to the hospital... She got an apology from her father every time... She was only ever happy those few brief hours where the weight was lifted off her shoulders. Until the reality of her father's lie was revealed, and she was subjected to torment thus more. She never went to school. She had to learn things herself through all the reading she did. Eventually she had grown up, gotten a job as a cashier, and escaped the nightmare that was her father's apartment. Though she could never tell the police of what he did. Since before she had left the house, it was revealed to her that their mother was... Alive. At exactly Friday the 13th, the father revealed to Emily that he had kept her mother in a below stable condition of health inside their closet. Using her every so often just to satisfy some sick fetish... This was the first appearance of her stand, in which when the salt was spilled at the dead silent dinner table that symbolized her final supper, whilst the father explained how all this blame could be taken onto her by the father's close relatives, the father had pulled out a knife that was meant to slit the eyes of Emily, but he eventually tripped on the way to the other side of the table, whilst suffering a horrible and agonizing headache, and lodged the knife into his own eye. He screamed for help. He told Emily how much he loved her.
She left fairly quickly. Her mother was left, alive in the closet until Death had decided to commit to taking her away. She may have been free. But she was now lonely. Lonely and sad. Where was her justice? Her perfect life? If she couldn't have it, neither could the others.
Current Life:
Living in a quiet apartment in Fallbrook. Tends to keep it that way.
Skills:
- Her secrecy acts as a great exit in escaping potential danger.
- Master of planning.
- Master of manipulation.
- Hard to read.
Weaknesses:
- Slim, and out of shape.
- Insomniac.
- Anxiety disorder.
- Constantly having bad luck.
- Haphazardly walks into things.
- Can't even recognize her own strengths to fully extend them.
- Suffers from depression. Self-loathing.
Appearance:
Unclean, ragged, and dirty. Although she's usually seen in mildly expensive clothing; it's usually in tatters, stretched, or stained all over. She has long, black locks that reaches down to her waist, which is usually knotted, curly and sprayed to death with cheap hair products that never actually work. Aside from her slim body image, her skin still remains clean, albeit pale white. Black bags plague under her eyes, and her full lips are usually smothered with coconut lip balm. She's almost always seen with some sort of sugary treat in her mouth, which explains her under cleaned teeth. Although beautiful in some aspects, her way of life says otherwise.
Other Details:
- Addicted to Dexedrine.
- Has several pet cats. Yes, they are black cats.
- Although her normal personality offers a cold, disheartening mood; she can be easily melted down into someone truly submissive and caring if someone bothered to actually help her.
Stand Profile
Stand Name:
Beast Of Burden
Ability:
Beast Of Burden is capable of marking itself on items and organisms that would be considered bad luck to a certain majority. Meaning, if the target happens to commit to one of these superstitious karmas; the stand’s ability instantly activates if the user had printed Beast Of Burden onto the object or organism beforehand. Once the stand has activated, the target will begin to suffer from a “Cluster Headache”, whilst simultaneously having to deal with the repercussions from said superstitious events based on legend. I.e, passing a cemetery which is under the effects of the stand will make people unable to breath until they see a black or brown dog. Or cutting hair with a pair of marked scissors causes a close relative to perish. Though some of these situations can be reversed. For example, throwing salt over your shoulder if you happened to spill salt will reject the headache and the stand’s effects. Also any luck charms will negate the stand's karmatic effects, but the headache will remain until the user is either killed or subdued.
Stand Type:
Automatic
Power:
D
Speed:
D
Range:
A
Durability:
A
Precision:
D
Learning:
C
Appearance:
Beast Of Burden appears to be a humanoid ink splotch that appears on targets of interest, and items that the superstitious would consider “Bad Luck”. It represents a black robed man with a Plague Doctor mask from the 16th century; with its head turned to the left. Of course Beast Of Burden also upholds a semi-three dimensional form, which its head is bent over the user’s left shoulder when inactive.
Example of Power: Sacrificing her time to set a series of traps, enemies could find themselves under ladders, being face to face with black cats, and accidentally breaking mirrors in place of Emily's body. Eventually making the headaches, and the bad luck so unbearable, they will eventually commit suicide, or die by natural causes unless they subdued the user.
